Finally, after two months staying at home, we are resuming our experimental work in the lab. Little by little, with extreme precaution, following all the safety rules, we trust we will start producing results that will help us advance our projects. It is only two of us going to the lab at the moment, but let´s hope soon we will all be back.
We have not been sitting at home doing nothing during this time. We kept regular lab meetings over zoom, reviewed grants and papers, discussed recently published papers, worked on the final reports of Grade and Master students, re-evaluated all our projects, attended and discussed virtual seminars, wrote new grant proposals (some of them on COVID-19!), submitted new papers for publication, and even got a paper and a book chapter published.
These are difficult times but we are sure we will move forward and regain a «new normality». Let´s take this as a chance to improve all our activities. We want to thank all those who kept working hard to make sure we could stay safe.
And of course we cannot forget those who suffered a loss and those going through difficult times.
We are back!
